Many times as consumers we are always on the lookout on ways to get more out of a tank of gas. Here are some tips to help you out and get the most for your money.

1. One of the biggest mistakes we make is not paying attention to our driving habits. By speeding and riding the brakes all we do is take up more gas and in the long run cost us more money.

2. Ride a bike to work is something many of us maynot be able to do, but some of us can. You will be surprised on how much this could save.

3. Carpool with other workers that live near you. This will save you gas money and wear and tear on your vehicle.

4. Remove extra weight from your vehicle. Many times we do not realize all the extra weight that maybe sitting in the trunk or other places as well. This is why is is a good idea to check it once a month.

5. Make sure your car is properly tuned. Many times we let this part go and it really can suck up the gas. Get your car checked regularly and you will find that you will save gas.
