When their is an economic downturn there are several things that you want to make sure that you do not do so you will be able to ride out the store the best possible way you can. Let us look at a few of these and see what they are.
Credit cards are actually the nest egg for many people during a bad economy. We tend to use them more in a downturn which is really a big mistake. Try to limit the use of credit cards if possible.
Stay away from home equity loans. Years ago this was a safe idea, but the way the housing markets are and the amount you must pay back it is not worth it. You will pay back much more than you need to so stay away from this as well. I hope some of these idea’s have helped you.
Do not raid your nest egg as well. The IRA and 401K is the natural choice for many Americans, but do not touch it. The penalties that you will have to pay is just not worth it. Do not touch it let your money continue to grow you will be glad you did.

It seems as parents get older we spend less time with our children and in reality that is a trend tht we need to reverse. Most of this seems from not the idea that parents do not want to, but the idea that as parents we have very little time anymore. Is this a good excuse? Nope not at all.
Kids want to spend time with parents and I ave some good idea’s where you can spend time with your children and it will not cost you one dime out of your own pocket.
Most kids love to sit down and watch a movie. Head to the library and check out some movies and sit and watch them with your kids. Most libraries now have a vast collection that you can usually check out for a week. The best part it is free to do so.
Head outside and play some games with your kids. It can be as easy as tossing the ball around to a game of horseshoes. Kids just like the bonding experience with their parents so any type of game will suit them fine.
Go for a bike ride once a week with your kids. They will get great exercise and you will be able to talk with them as you ride. It is a great bonding experience and one that you also will enjoy.
As you can see I have tossed you some idea’s on how you can bond with your children even more. There is plenty more, but that is for another post.

It seems more today than ever before finding the right person is getting tougher all the time. The harder we look it seems the less good people we do find. This means that we must follow some fast hard rules if we want to see some success in dating circles. I hope these tips help you out.
1. If they are reluctant to meet family and friends than something is up. Most people who are genuine are willing to meet your family and friends without any problems at all.
2. You do not want a controlling person. No one wants to be told what to do all the time or where they can go. A control freak is definitely someone that you will want to get as far away from as you can.
3. You have to be able to trust them. What good is a relationship if you cannot trust the person you care deeply about. This is why trust is a very important factor.
4. Friends don’t like him or her. This is something that many people run into and I have found out almost 95 percent of the time your friends are right. If he or she does not get along with your friends avoid them.
I hope some of these tips can help you get and find the person that you have always wanted.

Buying a used car can sometimes be a real bear if you do not pay attention to a few things that can tell you a good vehicle from a bad one. We have complied some fast tips to help you not get burnt on the next used car you happen to purchase.
Beware of four new tires on a vehicle. Many dealers tend to put new tires on to hide hidden faults with a vehicle. A lot of used cars that I have bought had bad front ends and tire wear is the way that is most noticeable so putting a new set of ties hides that. Always have the front end checked before making a purchase.
Clean engines are great to look at, but many dealers have them steam cleaned to mask something else. Sure they look nice, but that does not necessary mean it was well taken care of.
Always check everything on the vehicle. Make sure all the windows roll up and down easily. Check headlights, turn signals and run the vehicle on a test drive for 10-15 minutes and look underneath to see if it is leaking anything. In other words check everything you use daily so you will not have to make repairs later.
Take it to a mechanic. I know this is a hard fast rule, but you would be very surprised at how many people never follow this rule and just buy the used car anyway. Always remember it is buyer beware so have the car checked over before handing over your hard earned money.

It seems that debit cards are fast becoming the choice type of credit to use these days, but they have certain pitfalls that you will want to avoid if at all possible. We have a list of some things to remember so you will not run into any trouble.
1. Do not use debit cards for gas purchases. Many times banks will hold these charges for up to three days. Many people than think they have more money than they actually do and they can overdrawn their account and get hit with big fees.
2. Do not book hotels or car rentals as well with a debit card as banks tend to hold these as well. Make sure they clear before spending money in your account so you avoid late fees.
3. Always know your balance. As consumers we tend to think we have more money or we made a mistake and that bank is always right. What happens usually is a charge has not come in and if you spend it you may get hit with late fees.
The best thing about debit cards is always make sure you know the balance that way you will not get hit with late fees and you will always know where you stand with your account.

If you shop a warehouse to try and stretch your dollar in the end it maybe costing you more money than you realize. These five things listed below will help you out next time you decide to shop at your local warehouse.
Coupons are being used more and more today than ever before. Most warehouses will not give you double coupons so in the end even if a product cost more at the supermarket you still will get it cheaper because of the double coupons that a grocery store provides.
Gasoline it seems is something ore and more warehouses are starting to sell. The problem with that is when the price goes up they are usually the first one to up the price thus costing you more. Stay away from buying gas from warehouses.
Do not buy unfamiliar brands either as many times the product is of inferior quality and you end up tossing it in the trash anyway. Most warehouses do not always have as many name brands as your local supermarket so you should always consider that before buying an unfamiliar product.
Many times at warehouses we see a great deal on a product and just buy it. The problem is many times the product will expire and you waste your money. I did that once with two bags of raisins. The price was great, but could not use them all and I had to throw them away thus wasting money.
Remember that when you buy in bulk at these warehouses the items are usually big in size and take up a lot of room. Will you have enough room to store everything. This is something that you will want to take a real close look at before making any kind of purchase.

I think maybe one of the toughest things to do is quit smoking. It seems many people right now are at a croosroad and want to quit, but do not know exactly what steps they should take to get their. Hopefully the tips below will help you out and get you going down the right path.
One of the first things you need to do is see your doctor. This is very important as they will be able to give you the best information possible and some programs that will work for you. They know what is best for you so listen to their advice and that will go a long way in getting you to quit.
Second thing is you must have plenty of support people around you to encourage you. Throw out those negative thoughts and surround yourself with positive thoughts and positive people. This will make your life much easier and the chance for success will also go up as well.
Third it will not be easy and you will have times that you want to give in, but do not. This will just make it harder when you start up and try to quit again.
Fourth stick to a proven plan and you will see in no time that you will be able to quit smoking and have a long fruitful life. It will not be easy, but it can be done if you want to work at it.

It seems at one time or another we have been into a dollar store. Do you shop them often? Well if you do not your missing out on some great deals. One of the best deals if your a smart shopper is the groceries that they sell at these store. Most of them have name brand and off brand names that are very good value.
People do not realize that you can get some great deals on things such as rice, sauces, chips, and other things at a much lower rate than a grocery store. Stop by them one day and you will see what I am talking about.
One place many people also over look it the detergent aisle in these dollar stores. Most grocery stores these days to not stock smaller size brands which mean you are forced to buy much larger ones. Go to a dollar store and most do sell the small brands.
If you really want to save a few dollars every week on your grocery bill and other things as well check out these dollar stores and you will be surprise how much you will be able to save over the course of a year shopping at dollar stores.
